Here’s the cold hard truth for you:
Your home is full of stuff and your wallet is not full of cash.
Give Me Thirty Days.
We can change this.
Ladies, it’s time to clean out the closets, clear the countertops and unclutter the kid’s clothes!
What’s that? You have mounds of cash and never worry about clutter? Oh… you’re in the wrong spot. Get outta here. The rest of us have some stuff to toss and money to make!
Starting April 1, 2017, I’ll guide you on a 30 day journey that will take you from clutter to cash!
- Daily Email Challenges to lead you step-by-step in cleaning out your stuff and preparing for a sale.
- Social Media support and challenges.
- Live Videos from me to help you understand the daily challenge and answer any questions that may come up.
- Accountability and support in our private Facebook Group.
- Details on how to sort and sell.
For about 12 years, I have been having twice yearly garage sales.
I go through my home, clean out clutter and sell the excess stuff.
Keep in mind, I have 3 daughters, and live frugally on one income. I save a lot of hand-me-downs for the next girl. We don’t toss out good stuff!
At the first garage sale I did, I made $60. Hours upon hours of work and I made sixty lousy bucks. My family spent that eating out the two days I was too busy to cook.
Since then, I’ve learned A LOT about cleaning out and selling stuff.
The last sale I had earned us around $1000!!
On average, our bi-annual garage sales bring in around $300.
Imagine yourself at the end of 30 days.
Your home is tidier, your wallet fatter.
Your husband and kids are happy!
You celebrate with pizza and ice cream!
Getting rid of unused items in your home will free you.
Your home will be more peaceful.
You have an easier time cleaning.
You have space in your home for doing the things you love, like creating and entertaining.
People will feel more at ease in your home.
Your family will have more time for making memories.
What’s keeping you from doing this?
Oh yeah… it’s a lot of hard work! And it’s overwhelming!
Where do you even begin?!
Sister, I am here for you. I have done this countless times. I’m the Queen of Overwhem Paralysis, and I will NOT lead you down that path.
When I began creating this challenge for you, I knew that it had to be do-able. You need small action steps each day that add up to one awesome goal.
You also need time to catch up and time to rest. I’ve built in family time on Friday nights, catch up time and big chores on Saturdays, and of course, Easter Sunday is off-duty!
We’ll go through your home bit by bit and cull out the things that don’t make your heart sing.
I’ll show you what to toss and what to hold on to for a garage/yard sale at the end of the month.
I’ll even help you decide if you would get a better price for that on eBay or Facebook Marketplace.
You’ll learn how to price your items at your garage/yard sale to maximize your profits and ensure you don’t have a pile of junk leftover.
If your community won’t let you have a garage sale, I have a few other ideas for finding a local sell site too!
But Christina, you say, my kids/husband won’t let me get rid of their stuff!
Don’t worry, I got you there too. See, last year, when my kids uncluttered their rooms, they got rid of TONS of STUFF…. willingly! I didn’t have to nag, coax, or prod. I showed them a better way and helped them catch the vision of a clutter-free life. We will work to gently bring your kids (and even that biggest kid you’re married to) along on the journey.
If the idea of selling your stuff seems a little overwhelming, you’ve got me to help. AND you can have a friend do some decluttering and selling with you.
Trust me, garage sales are wayyy more fun with a friend along! (Plus, it gives you someone to hold down the yard sale while you take a potty break or fill your kids’ sippy cups.)
